Multiplication Movers and Shakers!!

P3 have been working super hard on learning multiplication skills. They began by using multilink to create the 2 times tables, building sets of 2 and joining them together to make tables facts, ie 2 sets of 2 = 4. Some P4s created the 5 times tables in the same way. Another day we all went outside to make "sets of" in the playground using natural materials and recording the answers in chalk. P4s went even further by using brackets in their equations. What a clever bunch of mathematicians I have!!!
