Welcome to Donemana Primary School!

Welcome to Donemana Primary School!

I am excited to welcome everyone to our wonderful school where we are committed to our mission statement ‘Be the Best YOU Can Be.

We are a child-centred school and we encourage and enthuse our pupils to develop their individual personalities and potentials to the full.

All of us here at DPS approach school life with a positive attitude and a sense of fun.  We have a happy school where our children learn and achieve surrounded by an extremely dedicated and caring staff team.

Our website is constantly updated and we use it to share information about our school, to celebrate achievements and keep you posted about upcoming events.  Here on our website you will find our school prospectus, lots of information, policies, current news, and calender information.

We hope you find this useful.

Help prevent the spread of Coronavirus

To ensure we can all remain safe at school please do not send your child in if he/she has ANY symptoms of Coronavirus.

Parents should not send their children to school if they have any of the Covid-19 symptoms such as:

a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
