Yummy Hot Chocolate in Class!!

As part of our ongoing 'Winter' topic P2/3 were thinking about ways to stay warm in winter.  They came up with wearing more layers of clothes, using heating, exercising and drinking hot drinks to keep warm.

We decided that we should test out the hot drink suggestion, by making hot chocolates, to see if it really did make us feel warmer.

When finished the P2 children had to put the instructions into the correct order and P3 had to write their own instructions using instructional language.

Jayden: It tasted marshmallowy.

Emily: My hot chocolate was nice and hot.

Anna: I think it was strong.

Richard: It tasted like a chocolate foutain.

Thomas: The hot chocolate tasted like a chocolate bar.

Tia: It was sweet and warm.
