February 1st is, 'World Read Aloud Day' and Primary Three have been practising their best loud, clear and fluent voices so that they could read aloud to the rest of the class during shared reading and to each other during paired reading. The children really enjoyed showing off their expression skills especially when they read parts in speech marks and discovered that reading more slowly made it easier for others to listen to and understand the story.
We've all enjoyed reading and being read to today and hope that maybe you'll join in at home too!
