World Book Week!

P3/4 worked hard and had fun last week focusing on Mama Panya’s Pancakes, a picture book based in a Kenya. On Monday we read the story and created an animation in Just2Easy inspired by the landscape from the book. On Tuesday we wrote a diary extract as one of the characters as well as making and eating pancakes! On Wednesday we started some mixed media art (using crayons and paints) of the characters from our book. On Thursday we finished our pictures and shared our favourite books (which we had brought to school) as well as taking part in a World Book Day Quiz on Junior Newsdesk. Finally Friday allowed us to research an animal or plant from Kenya and create a picture and text in Just2Easy Create. A busy and exciting week!
