Wiggly Worms!

Primary 3's new topic is Bug/Animal Adventures! We have had a wonderful time looking and studying bugs and animals but we have taken a keen interest in something slimy and slithery...WORMS! We have learnt all about worms and what fascinating creatures they are! Ask any of the children in Primary 3 and they will tell you an amazing fact about worms! The children have also created a wormery! We got lots of left over food (that did not smell great) and put it in the bottom of the wormery, we then mixed coconut skin and soil together and added it to the top of the wormery, then came the fun part-finding the worms! As it was very hot it was very difficult to find the worms however we put some mustard water into the soil and out came lots of worms. We put them in our wormery and we check on them each week.
