What a capacity for learning!

Over the last few weeks we have been learning about capacity and volume. We've been very lucky with the weather and been able to complete our learning outdoors in the sunshine which we all enjoyed. As you'll see from the adjoining photos the P2/3 children were very involved with first, their exploration day where they had time to use the equipment and then their investigation days into capacity where they had specific tasks to complete. Finally they used their new knowledge to complete a life skill - measuring out quantities for the making of Angel's Delight!
