We had an action packed assembly this morning with children up and down receiving awards and recognition.
First our Pupil of the Month awards were given out to each class followed by our Writer of the Month, James and our Community Recognition Achiever, Abel.
After joining in with a new song we continued our celebration of success by introducing our librarians who have already been doing a marvellous job tidying the library and sorting out our Accelerated Reading books. Our School Council members were introduced followed by the announcement of our new school Prefects.
To finish up, Grace was the lucky winner of our Accelerated Reading Balloon, Bonus, Board! She picked and popped a balloon and won herself a much coveted Homework Pass!
A huge congratulations to all our winners. We are a lucky school to have such hard working, well mannered children who give up their own time to help with our various jobs and roles.
