P1 have started their new topic 'If you Go Down to the Woods Today' and enjoyed the classic story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' this morning. They incorporated some fun actions when hearing the story and were able to help read some of the phrases. After the story they were able to follow instructions to create binoculars which they then decorated beautifully. They finished by taking their binoculars outside to find 10 bears hidden in the play area. They worked together to find all 10 bears and order them correctly. What a wonderful activity with lots and lots of learning and fun! Just the way we like it :-)
