As the first full week of school comes to an end, I want to say how proud I am of Primary 5 and 6.
They have made an amazing start to the school year and have been working brilliantly in class.
So many happy, smiling faces, bursting with enthusiasm.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere was a little different in school today with the sad and terrible passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.
There was a special whole school assembly this morning dedicated to the Queen, where we also observed a minute’s silence.
P5/6 completed some art work in memory of Her Majesty and we will continue with special tasks in the Queen’s memory next week in school.
