Try Everything and High Hopes
During our last few celebration assemblies Mrs Hay has been talking to our superstar pupils about the importance of trying everything and not giving up, and about having positive thinking voices and high hopes. As part of these assemblies we have been enjoying some great music to reinforce these important messages. Shakira and Kidz Bop have been helping with the message!

The children were also shown some fantastic positive posters which Mrs Hay got for the school - for the kids bathrooms. Mrs Timoney helped to pick them as there were too many wonderful ones to choose from! We love them and hope you do too.
We have some great motivational and positive thinking posters up on display in the assembly hall, outside Mrs Hay's office and outside Mrs Timoney's room … next time you are in school have a look and if you come across any more nice ones you think the children would enjoy please let us know.
During our assembly on Thursday 30th January 2020 we recognised the extra special achievements of our Pupil of the Month from each class, our writer of the month and our AR achiever Darci in P3. Our terrific prefects also announced the winner of our first 'tidy classroom' award - well done P2/3 and Miss Nutt who have asked for chips from the chip shop on Den Day for their prize!
The children have been adding suggestions to the sparkly box outside Mrs Hay's office for pupil of the month prizes so keep an eye to see all the lovely new prizes arriving.
