P2/3 were DELIGHTED to win the 'Tidy Classroom Award' for January. Our prefects sneaked and peeked into our rooms when we weren't looking and decided that the P2/3 children had been doing a GREAT job at looking after their classroom. The award was announced in our end of month assembly and the prize was an AMAZING £5! The children then wrote a list of the type of things they would like to spend their money on and voted. The winning vote was for a CHIPPY treat which we finally enjoyed yesterday.
Here are some of P2/3's tips for keeping a tidy classroom:
Darci: 'Always tidy up after doing your work.'
Holly: 'Keep you school bag on your chair, not on the floor.'
Billy: 'If you bring something out, put it away again.'
Jack: 'If a chair is sitting out, push it in again.'
David: 'If you drop something on the floor, pick it up.'
Sienna: 'Brush the floor after your work.'
Cassie: 'Pick up scraps from the floor.'
James: 'If you have a drink, wash your cup.'
Harry: 'Make sure you keep your belongings together.'
