P1& P2 Superworm- World Book Day 2020

Primary 1 and 2 have had a wonderful week celebrating World Book day. The children have been sharing their favourite stories this week with their peers. On Thursday Miss Sayers shared her favourite book Superworm. The children all listened attentively and were able to suggest lots of describing words to describe Superworm to help with their sentences. P2 were able to retell the story in their own words putting the story in order and completing a little true or false quiz too. After all their fantastic literacy activities P1 & P2 made some wonderful Superworms from cheerios. The boys and girls loved making Superworms and they loved the cheerios even more! Kerry-Jo kindly shared her favourite story 'The Animal Bop'. We enjoyed the book so much we even took it to PE in the afternoon and danced around doing the Animal Bop!
