Spring is in the air!
Primary Three have been learning about the seasons through their 'Weather Watchers' topic and took to the playground to hunt down some signs of spring!
In pairs the children discovered trees budding, new flowers growing, baby lambs in the fields and of course a little bit more sunshine - at last! They recorded their findings and used the information to create a 'Signs of Spring' page for our Literacy board.
The class asked lots of super questions when we dissected a daffodil and enjoyed looking at the different parts of the flower. They then made their own daffodil in art using paper, paint and egg boxes. During our procedural work in Literacy the class designed their own instructions on how to make a daffodil, remembering to use the appropriate language.
If you have a moment, call in and have a look at all our hard work on the 'Signs of Spring' board outside the P3 classroom.
