On Wesdnesday 12th June we had our annual Sports Day and the weather was fabulous! There was a fantastic turn out of spectators and some of these spectators even participated in the grown-ups race which the children love.
The children were fantastic and joined in lots of races. P1 - P3 children enjoyed the sprint, sack and egg and spoon race. P4 - P7 children enjoyed the sprint, 3 legged and obstacle race. Children from P4 - P7 who wanted to also participated in a long distance race and our house teams took part in a relay. The staff enjoyed the egg and spoon race and the spectators enjoyed an obstacle race.
The wonderful PTA ran a tuck shop which the children took full advantage of the grown ups could enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a tray bake.
