On Friday the 2nd of February, DPS welcomed visitors to the school who were trained volunteers representing the NSPCC. The aim of the visit was to introduce the ‘Speak Out. Stay Safe’ campaign which teaches primary school children to speak out and stay safe from abuse.
Firstly, there was an assembly presentation with the P5, P6 and P7 children and then P6 and P7 pupils participated in a special workshop with some follow-up activities.
All the boys and girls behaved impeccably and were extremely attentive throughout the sessions.
