What a wintery week we have had at DPS! The children have been enjoying the snow and P4/5 have been using it as inspiration for some snow simile poetry. Look at some of our ideas:
The falling snow is like a bright white polar bear dancing in the air.
Drifting snow smells fresh like the ice inside my freezer.
Frozen snow feels rough like the rocks on the cliff.
We had a great time outside exploring with our senses before writing our poems.
