Primary Two have been out and about looking for the signs of autumn. The children found leaves that had changed colour then fallen from the trees, conkers and apples growing on branches. As well as noticing the weather getting colder and the days getting shorter they also saw the empty bird box, it's residents had flown away to hotter climates. We really enjoyed finding out about autumn and wrote some lovely stories about our investigation when we got back to class.
