SciFest - a wonderful opportunity

P4/5 were lucky enough to be invited to SciFest, a science exhibition held in St Mary's College, Londonderry. 

We were asked to show some of the science work we had been doing in class based on our Amazing Me topic, which included Healthy Eating and learning about our digestive system. 

We were also able to participate in 2 workshops - Launchpad, where we completed an electrical circuit to fire ping pong balls around the classroom  and Robocode, where we had to programme a computerised car to cover a race track!

A wonderful experience! We hope to be back next year!
