Robotics Workshop
P5, P6 and P7 had the amazing opportunity of participating in a Sentinus Robotics Workshop.
James from Sentinus came equipped with laptops, robots and wonderful challenge mats. He showed the children how to write a piece of code for the robot, as well as how to download the piece of code from the laptop to the robot.
Children worked in pairs and tried to write a piece of code to take the little robot around the ‘Adventure Island.’ This involved Numeracy, Communication, ICT and many other Thinking Skills.
It proved a hugely successful day and we are very grateful to get the opportunity to take part in such an educational and fun workshop.
The children behaved impeccably and James the facilitator was very complimentary on both their attitude and work ethic.
A huge well done to all the boys and girls who participated.
