Thursday 20th June saw the annual prize giving assembly at Donemana Primary School. Lots of special awards were given out including sports day rosettes.
The McNee Shield was awarded to William for effort at Sport. It was presented by a very special guest, Kristian Gibson. Kristian is a past pupil who has achieved excellent things in the world of sport and now plays for Rangers Reserves.
The O'Neill cup was presented by Margaret to Kane and is for ICT.
The Thompson cup was presented by Mrs Thompson to Scott for Academic Excellence.
The Gamble cup for Literacy was presented to Emma.
The Kilgore cup for contribution to school life was presented to Leanne.
The Guy cup for Kindness and Consideration towards others was presented to Bethany.
The winners of the presentation awards were Brodie, Billy, Emma, Jennie, Sarah, Adam and Ellie.
The winners of the General Excellence Awards were Chelsea, Jemma, Jay, Rebecca, Sophie, Scott, Katie, Emma, Nicole, Sarah, Ben. Matthew, Kane and Leanne.
Reading awards were given to Dylan, Hannah and James. Reading cups were presented to Harry, Emma, Harvey, Jamie, Amber, David and Hannah.
Every child who attended well at after school footaball club also received a football from their coach, Don from 'Kick Start Coaching'.
It was a wonderful prize giving assembly with lots and lots of achievements recognised. Well done everyone!
