Why go to the panto when you can bring the panto to school?
With ticket prices and transport costs being a quite a bit to go in to the panto, we brought a panto to our pupils instead! With thanks to some of the funds raised with Easyfundraising there was no cost to families for this and our entire school stayed until 3pm (including our amazing reception pupils) to enjoy this musical production of The Jungle Book. There was an fabulous mix of acting, singing and puppetry which was wonderful for the children to experience. We had some volunteers play animals in the show and everyone else in the audience was taught three songs and some makaton for participation during the production. We even got to do wolf howls quite regularly during the story which the children loved! It was a very special afternoon for our very special pupils.
