Pancake Day this year arrived right in the middle of our Data Handling work so we thought, why not do both together!
So, today P2/3 sampled four different pancake toppings and voted on their favourite using a graph to record the results. They tried, Golden Syrup, butter, chocolate spread and sugar with lemon. As you will see some were definitely more popular than others but the children were great and sampled all to find their favourite.
After recording their results we had some questions based on the graph then finished off with a little bit of Literacy to tell us about their favourite topping. In the afternoon P3 learned a little more about Pancake Day including the amazing fact that . . . . . the biggest pancake ever made was more than 15 metres wide!! Wow that would take some frying pan!!
