Pancake Day Measure and Madness!
P2/3 were learning all about why we celebrate Pancake Day and in our research we came across a very interesting fact - the largest pancake in the world was 15 metres in diameter! Well we had some guesses as to how big this was but the only way to really find out was to go measure and that's exactly what we did! You'll see the end result in the video clip below.
As well as measuring we also completed some Pancake Day Literacy, Art, Numeracy and the all important pancake tasting. We tried sugar and lemon, chocolate and then butter, using our last quarter of pancake for our favourite topping. We then voted with our feet to see the most popular choice and turned this information into a graph, what a busy day! We hope you enjoy looking at our photos.
