P2/3 Odds And Evens

Primary Two and Three have been counting in twos and learning about ODD and EVEN numbers this week.  They have been playing counting in two games during P.E. and thinking hard about what makes a twos number part of the two times tables!  They had lots of practical work to put numbers in order and enjoyed working as a group to sort all the odd and even numbers.  As Darci and Holly are showing, Primary Three even discovered a handy pattern when colouring in their twos on the hundred square! In ICT they played the Coconut Odds and Evens game with some children recognising odd/even numbers all the way up to 1000, Miss Nutt was VERY impressed!

Next time you're walking past a house number why don't you test your child on their odd and even numbers so they can impress you!
