P2/3 greatly enjoy our weekly Musical Pathways programme and have recently been learning all about the musical 'rest' note. After tapping out a steady beat we were challenged with including this rest beat which meant no clap or noise at all. As you can imagine we found this a bit tricky at first!
We have also been revising our high and low notes using the 'High, low, giggalo' song which is always great fun especially when we get to use the stretchy blanket whilst we sing!
To finish off we roleplayed our 'Candle' song which incorporated the rest/silent note. Miss O'Hare always ensures we have lots of fun whilst we learn and we look forward to our Wednesday sessions every week.
