P2/3 Butterfly Week

We hope you enjoy having a look at all the wonderful things P2 and P3 have been doing during Butterfly Week.

Reading: Learning about the lifecycle of the butterfly through the reading of a Butterfly PowerPoint.

Spelling: Writing our spelling words with water bottles and water pistols!

Literacy: Answering questions based on the reading of a passage about butterflies and remembering information.

Numeracy: Practising subtraction skills and learning about symmetry.

Our children have been busy with other learning during the week also.  Some have been completing A.R. and Spelling Shed tasks, some have been out walking and discovered frogspawn, some have spotted butterflies whilst out playing and others have been helping with housework and gardening - I love hearing about  these adventures too.  Remember that ALL these activities are learning opportunities for you little ones NOT just the online learning so a huge well done and thank you to you all. :)
