P1/2 have been having a great time exploring learning through play during our new topic of Brr! It's freezing. They have been creating iceberg pictures on the iPads, reading in the arctic explorer tent, writing about winter at the writing table, creating ice castles and igloos at the junk art table and they have also been busy at the phonics table. Today, following on from our PATHs lesson, our children chose where to play as small groups. They had to find their friends with the same PATHs character card, then discuss and negotiate to decide where they would play together. Lots of fun every day :-)
