Miss Nutt's P1/2 class were testing out the power of the wind today. The children were very interested in the rough weather so they took advantage of the conditions for a quick science lesson. The children tied some string on to a plastic bag to make a kite and tried to make it fly in the classroom. Sadly the kite wouldn't stay up so they tried outside instead. Much to the delight of the class they discovered that the wind outside filled their plastic bags and made them rise up into the air. As you can see from the photos the children really enjoyed their investigation!
