P2/3 were solving problems today using the 10 frame and 20 frames. Over the last two weeks P2 have been revising their number bonds of 10 and P3 reviewing their number bonds of 20. The class had to read the problem carefully and decide how best to use their 10/20 frame to demonstrate the sum needed. All children worked very hard at this and it was lovely to see them make the connections between learned number bonds and the visual representation of that number fact. They enjoyed the practical side of this activity and it was easy to see that happy workers make happy learners! Well done P2/3!
