Measure in P2/3

If you stand still long enough you are very likely to get measured in the P2/3 classroom lately. This is because we have been finding out about metres, centimetres and also measuring with cubes and pencils!!

We discovered that meauring with pencils, hands and feet is not so good because we have lots of different sizes of pencils, hands and feet so our answers were very different from each others.

Measuring with cubes, rulers and measuring sticks proved much more accurate and the P2/3 children greatly enjoyed the practical side of our learning as you'll see in the photos below.
