Humpty Dumpty had a great...time!

P1 have been very busy learning nursery rhymes and enjoying lots of play based learning activities based on them. This week they had lots of Humpty Dumpty based fun! The children had walls to build for Humpty to sit on - they had to be as tall and as sturdy as possible. They also had to create something at the junk art table that would protect him when he fell off the wall - we tested these with real eggs which was lots of fun!

The children were thinking about other nursery rhymes too. They made Incy Wincy spiders at the art table and were performing and recording various rhymes in our film studio. So much fun!
