P1 and P2 have had a wonderful day exploring their senses as part of their Hey, Hey, Look At Me topic. The children were divided into groups and took part in some challenges to test their smell, sight, hearing, touch and taste. The smell area encouraged children to guess what was in the cup using only their sense of smell to help them. The sight area challenged children to pin the tail on the donkey whilst blindfolded. The hearing area demonstrated how difficult it is to communicate with each other whilst wearing earphones and the feely box encouraged children to use their touch to guess the object in the box. Finally the taste test! The children were all very brave at trying the mystery food and many were able to guess what it was. We were delighted that everyone tried all the sense areas so big well done to all the boys and girls in P1 and P2!
