Good Relations Culture Workshop

Primary 5 and 6 got a special invitation this week to Donemana Orange Hall.

Along with the P5/6 class from St Michael’s PS they took part in a Good Relations Culture workshop.

Dennett Interchange, Strabane Ethnic Community Association and the local council were all involved in facilitating this event.

The first part of the workshop focused on diversity and discrimination and the pupils from each school got to work collaboratively.

In the second part of the workshop the children got to watch a cooking demonstration, sample some glorious Indian and Thai cuisine, as well as try on some authentic Indian clothing.

The pupils behaved impeccably and enjoyed a wonderful and informative morning.
