To celebrate our 60th Birthday we are sharing photos and stories from past pupils to share in their successes and celebrate as a community. Our fourth story is from our past pupil Lynsey who's daughter now attends DPS and who is giving back to our wonderful school by being an active member of our Family and Friends Association and a new member of our Board of Governors.
Lynsey's story...
I spent my time at Donemana Primary School from 1994 to 2001. I completed reception class to P7 my teachers were Mrs Thompson, Mrs Gamble, Miss Lyttle (AKA Mrs McCusker) , Mr Torrens and Mr Kilgore who was the principal during my time at primary school. I have fond memories of Mrs Milligan the cook, Margaret O’Neill the secretary and Betty Forbes the cleaner throughout my school years. I completed my 11 + and then headed to Strabane Grammar for a further seven years before moving on to University where I completed my degree in accountancy. After graduation I went ahead and completed my Chartered Accountant exams and now currently work as a company accountant for a company called Learning Pool. I am married to Richard and have three kids - Beth who is currently in P3 at Donemana Primary, Will and Tom who will soon be starting their primary school journey.
