Primary 6 and 7 enjoyed a wonderful trip to Strabane Library today.
They were shown lots of different fiction and non-fiction books and how they were organised within the library. Next, the very kind librarian took the children on a complete tour of the library, read a chapter from the wonderful 'BFG' and then allowed the children a 15 minute slot to choose a book and read quietly.
It was a fantastic morning and hopefully it will encourage the children to use the library a lot more especially as it will help them reach their AR target. :)
