Autism Awareness Day at Donemana Primary School
Children in Donemana Primary School have been ‘BOUNCING!’ in order to raise money for Autism Awareness. Each child raised money through sponsorship and completion of a ‘Rainbow Bounce’ task where all children had 5 minutes of ‘bouncing’ in the playground. On Friday, all children wore the colour blue as a symbol of Autism and performed their ‘bounce’ in the playground. The pupils were bouncing in and out of hoops, bouncing balls, skipping and much more!
This was a wonderful opportunity for children to participate in a Rainbow Bounce and raise money for a worthwhile charity.
In the attached Photo you will see Mrs Crosbie (Acting Principal) presenting Jamie McBride with tickets for The Ulster American Folk Park, Omagh, as a prize for raising the most amount of money for the schools Autism Awareness Day.
