A Very Active Wednesday!

P2/3 have had a very busy and active day today! 

They started off with an outdoor spellings hunt where they had to find the correct machine, listen to the word it played then write it into their spelling books.  Sadly the weather was a bit wet but even with the rain it was much more exciting than spellings indoors!

After spellings it was time for P.E. with Core N.I.  Today they were learning the basic skills needed to play basketball.  Lots of fun was had as you can see in the photos.

After break we had LOTS OF EXCITEMENT as tadpoles arrived in school, thanks to Tabi.  The children had a great time watching the tadpoles being transferred to their new classroom home and wrote fantastic sentences about it afterwards.

One O'clock arrived and still more active learning was in store as we had two very special visitors who helped us plant carrot seeds and potatoes!  The children really enjoyed getting their hands into the soil and helping to plant.
