On Friday the 27th of April 2012, the boy's and girl's cross country teams travelled to Templemore Leisure Complex to participate in the Western Education and Library Board Cross Country Challenge heats.
The boy's and girl's sections were hugely competitive with nearly two hundred runners competing in each section.
The boys and girls from Donemana tried extremely hard and really enjoyed the whole event. The most notable performance of the day came from Jack Dougherty, who finished in 32nd place out of approx. 200 runners. This was a fantastic achievement, Well done Jack!
