We have been busy spending lots of money in P4/5! It was a very special person's birthday recently...Alex! Alex turned 21 again and we decided that we needed to buy her some presents so we went shopping in the Argos catalogue! Every group was told how much money they had and they could choose something for her as long as it was in their price range. Some children bought her one thing, some bought her two and some even had change! The girls bought her earrings, ornaments and lovely items for her house whereas the boys thought practically and bought her very useful items such as a mop, an iron and a new hoover!
The children were able to work out what they had spent and how much change they would get, they will be ready for Christmas present buying come December!
