P6/7 were studying inventions and ingenuity. They discussed the many different inventions throughout the years and had to put them in order from when they were invented. We were all shocked when we got most of them wrong! Some of our shocking discoveries were;
- In 1928 a bread slicing machine was invented
- In 1924 the quick-freezing method was invented
- In 1926 the first television was demonstrated
- In 1933 the catseye on the road was invented
- IN 1983 the first mobile phone was invented for £3000
- In 1989 the world wide web was developed (www)
