Farewell Mrs Crosbie...

Farewell Mrs Crosbie...

Friday the 18th of December not only marked the end of the school term but it also marked the end of an era for DPS. Mrs Crosbie, a fantastic teacher in the school for 15 years worked her very last day.

For family reasons, Mrs Crosbie is moving to another school to continue her career. She was a huge part of the school's history and will be sadly missed by all the children, parents and staff. Her infectious smile, rosy red cheeks and bubbly personality are just three of the things that we will all miss about Mrs Crosbie. To mark Mrs Crosbie's departure there were three special presentations. The first presentation was made by Rev. Stockitt at the end of the matinee Christmas show and this was on behalf of the children and parents. The second presentation was a gift from all the staff and lastly our Chairman of the Board of Governors, Mr Mowbray, presented a gift on behalf of the Governors to Mrs Crosbie at the end of the evening Christmas show.

This fantastic lady will be missed by everyone and we will be inviting her back for a very special assembly on Friday the 12th of February. It will begin at 1pm followed by tea/coffee and refreshments where you can say your final goodbyes to Mrs Crosbie.
